responsibilities
the opportunity
provide support and follow-up with the services provided by the gl area to the different accounting areas of our latam clients to ensure the company's financial processes.
your impact
as cntrl & rpt assoc accountant your functions would consist:
* support the month-end close process (gl-je) and make sure all the related tasks are completed timely and complying with the pepsico requirements.
* coordination, preparation, and presentation of all information and reports for internal/external audit purposes in accordance with specific auditor requirements
* support for the ou´s latam to assist the business in its different controls.
* generate clear communication with ou´s latam.
* monitor inter-company transactions and ensure inter-company confirmation balances at month-end with related parties.
* prepare monthly financial statement (balance sheet, p&l & financial attached reconciliations for review and approvals of controller & planning team (before upload in hfm).
* consolidate the monthly financial statement package (balance sheet, p&l, and account balance supporting documentation) to be submitted in hfm.
qualifications
who are we looking for?
education
* a bachelor´s degree in accounting is mandatory
experience
* experience (desirable) in accounting, control environment, and sox compliance
* office intermediate
* english intermediate level
* communication skills are needed as the individual will be required to interact with employees and ou’s control team latam.
* knowledge basics (desirable) in erp-sap.
