the warehouse assistant*jr.* e*nsures the proper handling, safekeeping, and control of waste generated by the plant.
the warehouse assistant jr. must proactively exhibit and motivate others in wireco business system (wbs) behaviors:

*functions*:
- reception, verification, and classification of waste (scrap, wire scrap, metal scrap) from the plant.
- use of forklift for material handling.
- material cutting using oxy-fuel equipment.
- waste packaging.
- loading reels with scrap using forklift.
- loading wire scrap into the assigned container.
- reporting failures of utility equipment.
- control and safekeeping of supplies.
- all activities mentioned are illustrative but not limited.
*responsibilities*
- signing wire scrap weight tickets on loading days.
- ensuring weight tickets are correctly signed.
- organization and cleaning of the work area.
- compliance with policies, procedures, and quality management systems.
- compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- proper use of ppe.
- full use of ppe.

- high school diploma or technical degree
