why this role exists
amazon is jasper's #1 sales channel and jasper has become one of the best selling brands in the pet dental category.
we are seeking a new candidate who can assume ownership of the channel with one singular goal — continued profit growth. This role exists to move from managing jasper's amazon channel to leading and scaling it with limited oversight.
what you will be responsible for
* expense reduction through various levers including supply chain optimization, supplier sourcing and negotiations, loss mitigation and reimbursement on amazon, etc. — building annual forecasts by sku and by channel to benchmark future sales; recommend new growth strategies and ways to improve operational efficiencies.
* report to ceo in weekly standing meetings with custom dashboards that clearly demonstrate kpi targets and trends.
* leading and grow an internal team of e‐comm specialists to scale the business.
* building out operations systems and sops — put in place any needed operational systems and tools (project management, ppc, etc) to ensure a smooth workflow.
ensure that sops are being created and stored using our apps.

qualifications
* 5+ years of experience on amazon, including ppc management, listing creation & optimization, promotions, storefronts, and more.
* proven track record of growing consumer product brand on amazon — ai forward mentality, with a record of implementing ai tools to boost effectiveness and efficiency in the organization.
* excels using data to inform creative decisions.
* active and savvy user of key data tools and apps, such as ppc, keyword research, competitor analysis, p&l, a/b testing, and more.
* a genuine love for pets — present or past ownership of a cat or a dog is preferred but not required.
compensation and benefits
* $2,500–$3,500/mo (commensurate with experience) + bonus tied to company profitability.
* 10 days of vacation plus 9 major us (or local) holidays.

* the channel specialist must be able to work us hours of 9 am–5 pm pst.
