As we expand our global footprint, we are seeking highly motivated and results-driven channel sales managers to spearhead our growth in the smart lock.
position summary:
we are looking for an experienced local channel sales manager to develop and execute sales strategies within the mexico market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local traditional lock, smart lock, or general hardware industries, with an established network of distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners. You will play a pivotal role in building our channel ecosystem from the ground up in your region.
key responsibilities:
1、channel development: identify, recruit, and onboard tier-1 and tier-2 distributors, wholesalers, and specialized retail partners within the hardware and door lock sectors.
2、sales strategy & execution: develop and implement localized sales strategies to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for imou's smart lock product lines.
3、account management: build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key channel partners, providing them with necessary product training, sales enablement, and marketing support.
4、market intelligence: monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics. Provide continuous feedback to the hq to help optimize product roadmaps and marketing strategies.
5、pipeline management: manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation to contract closing and post-sales relationship management.
6、cross-functional collaboration: work closely with the global marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product rollouts and promotional campaigns in the local market.
qualifications:
1、experience: 3-5 years of professional retail sales experience, familiar with the sales channels of the traditional mechanical lock, smart lock, smart home, or building materials, hardware and pipeline industries; candidates with relevant industry background are preferred.
2、network: possess an active, existing network of local distributors, dealers, and hardware channels in mexico.
3、skills: excellent business negotiation, presentation and business development skills; ability to work independently and achieve performance efficiently in a fast-paced environment; at the same time, need to have an in-depth understanding of local smart lock market trends, various types of door locks and mainstream smart lock solutions, and be able to formulate adaptive sales strategies based on market needs.
4、language: native proficiency in mexico; professional working proficiency in english.
5、traits: self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, highly resilient, and capable of operating effectively with remote hq support.
