key responsibilities of the demand planner manager
- lead the process of generation and market sign-off on the most reliable forecast possible for all
products in the market or markets under his/her responsibility, through coordination of cross
functional teams to deliver inputs, make business decisions and agree on volumes based on quality
data analysis.
- provide visibility required for improvement of supply and financial planning processes
aiming to optimize inventory level, avoid write-offs and improve customer service.
- the process is a core activity towards delivering the right product to our consumers when they need it and at the right cost.
- demand manager should be a key stakeholder for the gm and the lt of the market or markets
under his/her responsibility.
- to lead the process of generating an unconstrained and constrained forecast in a monthly
basis. This is the core activity in the ibp process.
- to allow monthly validation of the performance of the business and allow decisions to achieve the commercial objectives integrated with finance p&l by identifying, analyzing, and defining actions to cover risks or gaps against the plan.
- manage end to end demand forecasting process across all brands to improve forecast accuracy and therefore enhance customer service levels in line with external benchmarks.
- coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver sales gap closing opportunities as required.
- define key forecasting roles and accountabilities across the business to align sales,
marketing, trade and finance functions and develop 'one number' mindset to drive business
decision making and forecast transparency / functional accountability.
- establish and embed the revised demand forecasting processes to support the supply chain operating model and core commercial cycle.
- establish processes to support key account and trade channel specific forecast capability to drive enhanced service levels and reduced working capital requirements.
- manage demand forecasting input into the key ibp meetings including demand review / supply review and regional s&op meetings.
- ensure appropriate identification and understanding of demand forecast changes against short
- and long-term horizons to support effective supply chain action and provide key inputs to support e2e supply chain thinking and effective decision making.

we are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- bachelors in logistics, engineering or related
- previous experience in logistics, supply chain or marketing
- at least 3 years as demand planner or related positions
with expertise managing direct reports.
