this position reports to:

your role and responsibilities
in this role, you will act as a business partner to the relevant business manager and lead local finance teams to optimize financial performance within an assigned division or business area. You will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business options. You will also recommend the most appropriate business solutions.

this role contributes to the electrification distribution solutions business in san luis potosi.
you will be mainly accountable for:
* contributing to the strategy definition for the factory or manufacturing site and serving as a key partner for the factory manager in setting strategic direction and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategies, and making necessary adjustments.
* translating strategy into business plans, establishing measurable targets, overseeing planning and forecasting, evaluating financial implications of strategic decisions, building scenarios, and recommending actions.
* monitoring progress, providing insights and analysis to support operational decisions, identifying issues, advising management, and driving cost structure improvements, productivity, and capital efficiency focusing on profitability, costing, variances, and inventory analysis.
* establishing and overseeing processes and tools to ensure transparent and reliable financial data and business information, maintaining high quality standards in line with financial closing schedules.
* ensuring compliance and transparency in financial reporting and disclosures, implementing internal controls over financial and operational processes.
* leading and developing personnel within the area, with support from hr, ensuring proper organization, staffing, and skill development, and motivating teams.
qualifications for the role
* bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business management, or related field.
* 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in team management within a manufacturing environment.
* experience in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and managing balance sheets and p&l statements.
* knowledge of erp sap or similar systems and advanced excel skills.
* proficiency in english (advanced level).
* effective communication skills across different levels and stakeholders.
