**_ OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE _**
- Analyzes and interprets operational needs, requirements, and opportunities within Pricing Platform.
- Contributes to business processes improvements within area of responsibility.
- Participates in Pricing Platform’s user and regression testing for new features, enhancements, and capabilities.
**_ SCOPE _**
- Works with product owners to lead testing activities for Pricing features built in the product.
- Bring knowledge and experience of working with agile QA frameworks, process, tools, and technologies to maximize test efficiency
- Responsible for the quality assurance (QA) of features built in the Pricing Platform
- Manage end-to-end QA and provide QA updates/reports to the Platform owner
**_ ACCOUNTABILITIES_**_ _
- Lead testing and QA efforts for Pricing Platform feature builds
- Manage escalations, risks and issues related to the testing and QA outcomes
- Ensure that engineering, design and testing standards and practices comply with Global IT governance and architectural standards while performing in a heavily regulated environment
- Creates clearly documented bug reports for issues identified in Pre-Prod/UAT phases and log and tracks them on the respective test management tools. Coordinates resolution defects with development team, functional and configuration teams as required.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement and maintenance of the Regression Test suite.
- Experience utilizing Agile development tools for project management and bug tracking (ex. TFS, Jira, or Rally)
- Translate feature requirements into testable user stories
- Knowledge of international Pharma, Pricing, Tenders, and Price Types is preferable.
- Understanding of financial terminology including Revenue, Trends, and Forecasting.
- Advanced excel skills for analyzing data; pivot tables, roll-ups, formulas for comparing various data sets.
**_ EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:_**
- 2 - 4 years of experience as a Software QA/Tester.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in related technical field.
- Proficiency in writing test cases for user testing.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Jira, and Confluence.
- Passionate about change and continuous improvement; willing to challenge status quo and dissent when needed, and not afraid to point out areas of development.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills with ability to present ideas in a business and user-friendly language
- Demonstrable knowledge in agile software testing practices
