Responsibilities
the opportunity
pepsico corporate audit is a global function that delivers independent, risk‑based assurance and insights to strengthen governance, protect value, and enable innovation. We partner with business and technology leaders across geographies to address today’s risks and anticipate tomorrow’s challenges supporting pepsico’s digital transformation, cybersecurity, and sustainability objectives.
This role targets self‑directed, high‑performing professionals who think critically, take end‑to‑end ownership, and want a high‑visibility opportunity to broaden enterprise exposure and accelerate leadership readiness within pepsico.
Your impact

risk‑based audits: plan and execute risk‑based it, operational, compliance, and integrated audits, with a focus on emerging and evolving risk areas (e.g., ai, cloud, cybersecurity, data privacy, esg).
Technology & emerging risk monitoring: monitor and assess key enterprise risks related to emerging technologies and digital transformation; deliver timely, actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Cybersecurity & resilience: evaluate cyber risk management practices, including identity and access management, incident response, business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance (e.g., sox, gdpr, ccpa, pci dss, eu ai act).
It governance & controls: assess it governance frameworks (e.g., cobit, itil), system development life cycles (agile and waterfall), and it asset and service management processes.
Stakeholder engagement & influence: independently engage with business and technology stakeholders; clearly communicate audit results, risk implications, and improvement opportunities to senior management and audit leadership.
Continuous auditing & innovation: design and execute continuous auditing and monitoring activities using data analytics, automation, technology kris, and ai‑enabled audit techniques.
Mentorship & team development: coach and review the work of junior auditors; contribute to a culture of accountability, inclusion, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Global collaboration: collaborate with colleagues globally, sharing best practices and supporting rotational or cross‑regional initiatives.

Qualifications

4 years of relevant it audit, risk, or assurance experience, including exposure to modern technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Certifications: cisa, cissp, cism, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred; commitment to ongoing professional development expected.
Technical knowledge: experience across one or more of the following: cybersecurity, cloud platforms, ai/ml, erp systems, digital services, it infrastructure, and it service management.
Data & analytics: working knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., power bi, tableau, python or similar).
Business & risk acumen: understanding of enterprise risk management concepts, business operations, and esg‑related considerations.
Communication & influence: strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, business‑focused insights.
Leadership capability: demonstrated ability to manage work independently, lead audit activities, exercise sound judgment, and drive issues to resolution.
Diversity & inclusion: commitment to fostering diverse perspectives and inclusive team environments.
Differentiating competencies

experience in public accounting, consulting (e.g., big 4), or complex global organizations.
Exposure to digital transformation, automation, analytics, or sustainability initiatives.
Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills; comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
Ability to synthesize disparate data points into risk‑based conclusions and recommendations.
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo constructively.
