as a purchasing manager, you will play a key role in building and consolidating the procurement function while ensuring supply continuity and cost efficiency. In this role, you will:
* oversee purchasing activities for packaging materials including bottles, corks, labels, corrugated packaging, and pallets.
* lead strategic negotiations with key suppliers to secure competitive pricing and service levels.
* develop, qualify, and homologate alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risk.
* track and manage supplier kpis such as on-time delivery, service level, and quality performance.
* work closely with operations and production planning teams to align procurement with production requirements.
* drive cost savings initiatives while maintaining quality and supply reliability.

the succesfull candidate for the purchaising manager rol will have a deep experience strengthening supplier relationships and driving procurement efficiency. For the position we need:
* 7-8 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the distilled spirits or alcoholic beverages industry.
* demonstrate strong strategic negotiation skills and the ability to manage long-term commercial relationships (kams).
* apply a results-oriented mindset focused on cost savings and operational execution.
* show strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
