the ats mx transportation operation management (tom) team is looking for an area manager with a strong delivery record, proven ability to drive process improvement, people management experience, and ability to motivate reporting team members to meet the challenges of an on-time driven environment.
key job responsibilities
- drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring safe work environment for amazon and non-amazon workers.
- audit and ensure compliance to all standard work, nail the plan and environmental regulations
- meet the otp/otd target per shift.
- own area performance metrics and communicate them to tom manager and site leadership.

basic qualifications
- work a rotating, flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays. Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- speak, write, and read fluently in english
- bachelor's degree
preferred qualifications
- experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- experience with process improvements (lean six sigma and/or kaizen)
- experience experience managing a team of 10+ employees
- - experience with six sigma methodologies
