- develop, implement, and evaluate personal protectionprograms for vips, visitors, and events, reducing exposure tokidnapping, extortion, assault, and physical harm.
- oversee theintelligence unit, collecting internal and external data to assessthreats and deliver risk prevention strategies to protect people,information, and assets.
- develop and manage the corporateinvestigations function, directly participating in the resolutionand prevention of criminal acts or situations threatening thecompany.
- design and promote company-wide security awarenessprograms, including mandatory training and communication strategiesto embed a strong security culture.
- manage external securityservice providers, ensuring contract compliance, alignment withcorporate standards, and optimal deployment of personnel andresources.
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of cutting-edge securitytechnology, recommending and implementing systems that support thecompany's growth and risk landscape.
- establish and strengthenrelationships with law enforcement agencies, private securityassociations, and federal, state, and municipal authorities todetect emerging threats and obtain timely support.
- analyze andreport on all security-related incidents, compiling data intoreports and statistics to inform leadership and develop preventivestrategies.
- coordinate with the it department to develop andmanage information security strategy, ensuring updated policies,procedures, and awareness campaigns are in place to prevent databreaches.
academic background: - bachelor's degree in criminology,security, law, industrial engineering, administration, or relatedfield - desirable: master's degree in corporate security, riskmanagement, or business administration - certifications: asis cpp,cism, iso 27001, business continuity management (bcm), or similarexperience (10+ years): in corporate security within industrial ormanufacturing environments, with direct experience in riskprevention, investigation, asset protection, and teamleadership
