Rolls out appropriate strategies set forth by the cluster category manager, provides sound direction for the assigned sub-category, and ensures close collaboration with all associated partners. Applies category management principles, supports the development and implementation of local procurement plans as per cluster directions. Works in close collaboration with the cluster category manager to provide cluster insights during global strategy definition and ensure that the supplier list is managed efficiently and effectively. Participates in financial planning and delivers benefits/value within their perimeter of action.supplier managementidentifies and leads the local supplier pool. Negotiates strategic contracts and ensures optimum and sustainable supply conditions. Recommends timely strategic decisions where relevant to prevent procurement inefficiencies. Ensures full compliance in the utilization of digital technology for sourcing events and performance reporting.
