Network security specialist
we are seeking a seasoned network security specialist to join our team in mexico. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network troubleshooting and administration.
* technical requirements:
* - proficient in at least 3 different network security products, including firewalls (paloalto, ciscoasa), content filtering (bluecoats, broadcom) and ids/ips (cisco sourcefire, mcafee)
* - strong working knowledge of cisco firepower asa and ftd.
* - mid-level networking troubleshooting skills and comprehensive understanding of web connectivity protocols (wccp, pac files, tcp/ip, http, https, ssl, ftp, telnet, ssh, etc.)
* - familiarity with authentication protocols such as ldap, iwa, iwa-direct, sso, active directory.
* - at least 2 mid-level certification in network security from any of the vendors like paloalto, cisco, cloud, bluecoat, sourcefire (ccnp, jncis, etc)
* - ability to manage operations duties and other tasks effectively.
* - clear understanding of windows and linux operating systems.
* - excellent customer facing communication skills and knowledge of itil best practices.
* - ability to grasp complex issues and arrive at optimal solutions.
* - strong ethics and integrity.
* - flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
