Your positionAs aEHS Team leader, you will report directly to theHead of Safetyfor theLATAM regionand play an integral role in the team.
You will:Ensure EHS regulatory schedule is followed in the plant.Provide training and technical advice on safety and environmental protectionDirect and supervise the Plant's Commissions and BrigadesOperational maintenance of the ISO 14001 and 45001 in-plant systemResponsible for on-floor monitoring of ISO 14001 and 45001 systemInvestigation of Accidents, Incidents, First Aid, Environmental Impacts, Non-ConformitiesCompliance with health, safety and environmental requirementsWeekly floor tours and auditsFollow-up of the internal health and safety system, policies, procedures, standards, legal complianceContractor and supplier protocols and managementMonitor and execution in the control of transport boothsElaboration of proceduresEducation and Professional Background:At least 8 years' experience in Health, Safety and EnvironmentEducation/ training in Health, Safety, and EnvironmentalKnowledge, Skills, and General AbilitiesTechnical and Core CompetenciesKnowledge in SAP.Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.Detail-oriented and highly organized.Knowledge in Mexican Regulatory Standards (STPS, SEMARNAT, SSA, etc).
Knowledge and experience in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.Profile description:Your profileResponsible for design, develop, implement, and oversee the organization's environmental, health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities are within the environmental health and safety function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.Previous professional experience.
Fluent in SPANISH and ENGLISH - Portuguese is a big plus.Familiarity with Industrial safety, risk prevention, in-plant emergencies.Knowledge in Ergonomics (risk analysis).
