job overview:
execute, assign, and follow up on resources needed to carry out hr strategy for two facilities in mexico.
* direct, organize, and deliver results on all hr-related activities assigned to both facilities.
* monitor and manage hr operations, compensation, change management, workforce planning, recruiting, talent management, training, and driving cultural transformation.
* develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs.
* responsible for key hr metrics aligned with business unit strategies.
* organizational development - conduct investigations, provide resolution plans for employee complaints/concerns, and monitor follow-up on action plans with management.
* supervise training and development processes to facilitate employee development aimed at building core competencies.
* grow and develop the hr staff.
* represent the company in negotiations & management/union meetings.
* provide coaching and consulting to leaders on effective performance management intervention.
* support culture and organization effectiveness through understanding the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability within functional areas and drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy.
key responsibilities:
* manage and implement motivational programs to improve employee relationships.
* manage team supporting cafeteria, medical, security, and ehs area.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in administration or similar field completed.
* master's degree in human resources, labor relations, or business administration preferable.
* 8+ years of experience in the areas of human resources.
* a minimum of 5 years of experience as human resources manager.
* fluent english spoken and written is required.
* experience in a union environment in manufacturing.
* effective project management skills within the hr function.
* handling of hr system experience in quality systems knowledge of hr compliance and legal issues.
* compliance with document requirements interpretation course in iso 14001.
