position summary
the sales support coordinator is responsible for analyzing databases to obtain information and make decisions, implementing power bi projects to automate sales data collection, following up on promotions, calculating incentive payments, and updating sops related to sales support tasks.
what will you work on?
essential duties and responsibilities
* develop, implement, and enhance impactful business reports.
* conduct market price analysis and develop promotional strategies.
* develop and communicate strategic plans, track results, and adjust strategies based on market needs.
* analyze and disseminate competitive data regarding products, services, and pricing to identify market trends and innovations.
* provide analytical support on tactical and strategic projects.
* prepare weekly sales reports for leadership.
* monitor market strategies and identify sales opportunities and potential growth areas.
* ensure travel partners meet month-end goals and share lead generation ideas.
* handle administrative duties for the sales department.
* manage co-op and marketing funds for travel partners and representatives to ensure maximum roi.
* follow up with travel partners and representatives, providing troubleshooting assistance.
* extract information from databases and create reports.
* execute projects in an organized and methodical manner.
* meet and exceed kpis and handle administrative tasks such as managing trade partner updates, commission plan renewals, and daily admin duties.
what you bring to rcg?
qualifications, knowledge, and skills
* degree in tourism, business, administration, or marketing.
* fully trilingual: english, spanish, portuguese.
* experience in sales or marketing is preferred but not required.
* strong analytical skills to interpret data trends.
* proficiency in microsoft word, excel, powerpoint; knowledge of hyperion, brio, access, microsoft project, visio, lotus notes, and as400 is a plus.
* ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levels.
* problem-solving skills, project management, commercial mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
* flexibility to work hours and travel as needed.
