your role and responsibilities
as a delivery consultant specializing in technology expert labs services for ibm's zstack portfolio, you will provide world‐class infrastructure services solutions for clients with ibm z, linuxone, and associated software. Your expertise will help deliver tailored solutions that meet clients' unique needs.
your primary responsibilities will include
* design infrastructure solutions: develop and implement comprehensive infrastructure services solutions for clients utilizing ibm z, linuxone, and associated software, including z/os, linux, and gdps.
* deliver client‐facing services: provide expert consulting services to clients, ensuring seamless integration of zstack solutions into their existing infrastructure.
* collaborate with clients: work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, tailoring solutions to meet their business objectives.
* manage solution delivery: oversee the delivery of zstack solutions, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
* optimize solution methodology: continuously refine and improve the delivery methodology for zstack solutions, leveraging best practices and industry expertise.

* infrastructure solution design: experience with designing comprehensive infrastructure services solutions for clients utilizing ibm z, linuxone, and associated software, including z/os, linux, and gdps.
* zstack solution delivery: experience in delivering expert consulting services to clients, ensuring seamless integration of zstack solutions into their existing infrastructure.
* client needs analysis: experience with working closely with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, tailoring solutions to meet their business objectives. Solution delivery management: experience in overseeing the delivery of zstack solutions, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
* delivery methodology optimization: experience in refining and improving the delivery methodology for zstack solutions, leveraging best practices and industry expertise.
* deep knowledge in z/os operation and architecture, jcl and systems tools (adrdssu, dfsms, dfhsm), vsam knowledge, basic racf knowledge, basic ds8000 e ts7700 knowledge, problem determination, debug, e troubleshooting.
preferred technical and professional experience
* zstack portfolio knowledge: experience with ibm's zstack portfolio, including ibm z, linuxone, and associated software such as z/os, linux, and gdps, is beneficial for this role.
* technology expert labs services: familiarity with technology expert labs services and their application in delivering world‐class infrastructure services solutions is advantageous.
* infrastructure services solutions: knowledge of comprehensive infrastructure services solutions for clients with complex it environments is desirable.
* experience with netview, ftp, sftp, axway cft, connect direct, vipa, dvipa, zowe, gdps, zcx, z/osme.
* knowledge of assembler, rexx, python.
