bts is seeking a social media & video content specialist who can build our online authority, trust, and visibility through a video-first, professional storytelling approach. This is a strategic role: not about chasing trends, but about crafting a coherent narrative, amplifying our expertise, and improving our credibility across social platforms and professional networks.
you will be responsible of bts’ social media presence end-to-end, including strategy, content creation, seo reporting, performance tracking, and posting. You’ll also develop video content that highlights bts’ expertise, culture, and thought leadership, helping reduce the sales cycle by fostering trust and authority.
key responsibilities 1. Social media strategy & planning develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with bts’ business goals. Translate bts’ technical expertise (engineering, qa, ai, ux) into clear, engaging content pillars. Plan and maintain monthly content calendars, ensuring narrative consistency. Monitor social media performance with regular seo and engagement reports, adjusting strategy as needed. Identify opportunities to increase online visibility (e.g., creating profiles on design rush, clutch, and other industry platforms).
2. Video creation & editing produce and edit high-quality video content for professional audiences: talking-head videos with bts employees case study highlights behind-the-scenes and culture videos educational or insight-driven clips convert long-form content (interviews, talks, workshops) into compelling short-form social videos. Ensure videos maintain credibility, clarity, and a polished professional tone.
3. Social media management & content execution craft strong captions that balance technical accuracy, clarity, and warmth. Schedule and manage posts across linked in (primary), x, facebook, and other relevant channels. Maintain consistent tone, style, and messaging across all content. Manage light community engagement where needed.
4. Collaboration & cross-functional work work closely with marketing, and collaborate occasionally with engineers, qa, and ux teams to source content and insights. Support ceo linked in profile content and thought leadership.
5. Performance monitoring & iteration track metrics including engagement, reach, and qualitative feedback. Analyze seo and social performance to inform content adjustments. Iteratively improve content to maximize visibility, credibility, and lead conversion potential.
what we’re looking for must-haves strong experience creating video content for b2 b or professional audiences excellent short- and mid-form video making/editing skills ability to make complex or technical topics accessible and engaging strong storytelling instincts high attention to detail and quality comfortable interviewing people and guiding them on camera interest in tech, software, engineering, or consulting topics fluent in written and spoken english
nice-to-haves experience in tech, software, engineering, or consulting environments familiarity with linked in as a primary growth channel basic understanding of branding and positioning motion graphics or light animation skills
