about the role
this is a key leadership position that oversees all aspects of human resources at our puebla site. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading hr teams and developing organizational programs.
key responsibilities
* provide guidance and support to business leaders on hr matters, including employee relations, staffing, and recruiting.
* lead organizational programs and manage all processes associated with the employee life cycle.
* ensure facility compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
leadership expectations
* act as a role model for del monte's leadership behaviors.
* leverage continuous improvement methodology to increase efficiency and effectiveness of all hr processes.
* assess the organizational health of the site and develop proposals to further the company's targeted culture.
recruiting & employee relations
* manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and counseling.
* lead the puebla site through the annual performance review and employee development plan process.
* maintain contact with employees to monitor employee morale and attitude.
labor relations
* establish and maintain a positive working relationship with local union representatives.
* manage the grievance and arbitration process.
* ensure sound employee and labor relations practices are followed.
employee data & hris administration
* provide oversight and act as an administrator of employee data within the company's hris platform.
* guide and train employees and managers on how to process workflows within the hris platform.
security and facilities management
* develop and implement site security policies and practices.
* manage facility access and oversee security systems maintenance.
* enforce security policies and respond to emergencies.
required skills and qualifications
* bachelor's degree in human resources, social sciences, or related field of study.
* professional hr certification is highly preferred.
* bilingual, spanish and english required. Advanced skill of english preferred.
* 5 years of experience with progressive human resource responsibility.
* 2 years of experience in leading human resource teams preferred.
