* ensure production systems are available and operating according to defined service level agreements.
* drive incident and outage resolution while maintaining clear communication.
* facilitate the restoration of service to the production environment.
* establish disaster recovery procedures and maintain data retention practices.
here's what you will need:
* proven experience (minimum 3 years) administering aix systems version 7.x or 8.x.
* solid knowledge of powerha (installation, configuration, and failover testing).
* experience with virtualization tools such as hmc, vios, and nim.
* advanced use of lvm, filesystem management, and log diagnostics.
* understanding of tcp/ip networks, multipathing, and performance monitoring.
* expert proficiency in infrastructure design.
* expert proficiency in it infrastructure operations.
bonus points if you have:
* experience in backup/recovery (mksysb, tsm, nim server).
* experience working in high availability or critical environments (banking, telecom, insurance).
* expert proficiency in ibm powerha systemmirror.
* basic knowledge of linux o automation (ansible, shell scripting avanzado).
