This electrical engineer 3 role is responsible for designing and supporting cutting-edge structural component design for steam turbines.
key responsibilities include developing electrical measuring devices, wiring components such as hp and ip shells, lp hoods, bearings, pedestals, turning gears, and main steam valves.
main duties
* the primary focus is on the electrical device definition for shells, valves, bearing, pedestal section of the structures team with opportunities to expand to other structure components.
* you will coach and mentor others in analysis, design, test, and integration related to assigned components, assemblies, or process systems that meet business standards.
* work within the guidelines of applicable engineering policies and procedures, standards, and specifications.
* provide technical engineering support to improve or resolve design, performance, manufacturing, supplier, or field issues.
* document technical data generated to substantiate assigned components, assemblies, processes, and systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
* monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments.
* presentation and documentation of technical data to internal and external customers.
* solving complex technical problems and setting objectives for self and impacting short-term and some long-term business goals.
