What you’ll do
1. ensure the availability of primary packaging for the daily production of the entire plant's production lines.
2. coordinate timely changeovers from primary to alternate packaging when necessary.
3. minimize the use of alternate cardboard packaging to reduce costs.
4. report any critical primary or alternate packaging issues promptly to prevent line stoppages.
5. run container forecasts to visualize coverage for the upcoming week.
6. maintain records of primary packaging inputs and outputs to identify shortages easily.
7. provide receipt confirmation for primary packaging in portals for applicable clients.
8. review daily coverage using inventory files.
9. track daily critical packaging and monitor packaging in transit.
10. report any receipt discrepancies with clients.
11. quote and purchase new packaging as needed.
12. manage the carton packaging forecast.
what is required
* education: bachelor’s degree or engineering.
* experience: 2 years.
* knowledge and skills: understanding of lean principles, strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills, proactive problem-solving ability, excellent interpersonal skills, results-driven with high initiative, ability to work independently, proficient in basic computer software (microsoft office), and web-based applications.
* language: fluent in english.
