- ensure the reporting integrity and accuracy of mexico entities and latam, in accordance with ifrs and with mexico relevant local standards and policies for all local reporting; leading the implementation of new reporting requirements for mexico; ensure effective controls and procedures are in place in all reporting provided to group and local regulator including lob reporting and mexico press releases. Leading relationship with rating agencies in mexico.
- balancing the increasing complexity and requirements for the finance function in an environment of significant cost focus.
- the need to constantly review and streamline processes, accelerate reporting timelines and maintain controls in an environment of significant cost focus.
- preparing the team to deliver cloud project once confirmed for mexico deliverables.
Requirements
- accounting background-10 years+
- experience dealing with regulators/auditors/rating agencies
- lead with impact
- local and international accounting
- negotiation skills

- microsoft office (word, excel, power point) proficiency
