the role
kion scs is looking for a sap technical consultant responsible for managing the technical developments of the sap systems in our na region. As the technical consultant / developer, you will have the opportunity to work on the business transformation project for kion scs and build / customize the sap s/4hana applications.
essential role and responsibilities
* responsible for successful implementation of sap project systems (ps), including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on sap products to users.
* responsible for creating complex estimates inside sap ps and integrating project variations into project cost forecasting, revenue, and budget reporting.
* knowledge and experience of intercompany processes in sap ps.
* schedule project dates using intuitive and user-friendly fiori gantt chart.
* design and implement core functionalities of sap ps structures, wbs, network, milestones, cost planning, budgeting, material requirement planning, project quotation, time sheets, goods issues.
* facilitate the gathering of requirements, designing, implementing, and supporting sap ps to enhance the client’s business functionality and performance.
* configure the sap system in the areas of sap ps to meet the requirements collected during blueprinting work sessions.
* develop process models based on business requirements to determine the completeness of the information and process components.
* analyze business requirements (functional, technical, information needs, business processes) by conducting information‑gathering sessions with clients, analyzing the information and documenting an accurate understanding of their business requirements and mapping them to sap business processes.
* provide support (break/fix, how-to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing) for business applications or infrastructure to associates or third parties to maintain productivity, including international and fourth-level break/fix support.
* monitor risks and issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans.
* ability to deliver basic sap training to client end‑users.
what we are looking for / qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in computer science, mis, engineering, or similar field.
* 2+ years of experience in sap project systems.
* 2 or more full life‑cycle implementations of sap considered an asset.
* desired experience with cpm.
* sap ec/o industry experience with s/4hana and sap fiori.
* experience working in s/4hana implementation projects.
* strong functional knowledge of sap ps, network, wbs, and overall sap functional knowledge (integration with other components/modules).
* experience creating cost plans from approved estimates by dragging & dropping estimate items to project wbs or network activities.
* experience comparing estimates with project forecasts and actual costs, analyzing the accuracy of the estimates.
* desired implementation experience of ppm/cpm.
* integration knowledge with various sap modules like mm, qm, co, pp, pm, wm, sd, and fi.
* proficient using project management tools (jira), preparing, and presenting project reports.
* knowledge of testing methodologies, processes, and tools for testing functionality, including unit, integration, system, regression, and dry run testing.
* ability to design and develop test plans (test objectives, test cases, test data, test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system, or acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
* strong communication skills (english required c1/c2).
