Through collaboration with teams across the organization, strive to enhance productivity, quality, and safety, ultimately contributing to plexus's commitment to delivering customer satisfaction and building a better world.*key job accountabilities:* is visible and recognized in all manufacturing sites as a subject matter expert of their engineering discipline; and/or is visible and recognized in all manufacturing sites as a cross-discipline development leader for product/ process development, process/ product improvement or troubleshooting within site/ region, as it applies to their role.* serves as a technical and/or project team lead, providing technical guidance/ training and motivation for teams, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on mid-size to large plexus manufacturing processes, as it applies to their role.* supports continuous improvement activities with wider impact than own site, associated with their engineering discipline and/or project execution-focused efforts, as it applies to their role.* provides customer service leadership by establishing positive and productive customer communications during technical/project discussions, developing innovative architectures and solutions to meet customer needs (internal/ external customer), and supporting business continuity engagements and new proposal creation.*education/experience qualifications:* a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or science is required; a bachelor's degree in engineering or higher is preferred.* minimum ten (10) years of related experience is required.* an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.*other qualifications:* intermediate computer skills* advanced decision making, problem solving skills* advanced verbal and written communications skills* excellent analytical and statistical analysis skills; statistical process control software skills* in-depth cross-discipline development knowledge* strong understand structured design* ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers* lab tool/ test/measurement equipment experience preferred*travel requirements:* less than 40%*this document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform.*
