we are currently seeking a healthcare team lead to oversee a team of up to 15 members and manage day-to-day operations. This role is critical to ensuring adherence to productivity levels, slas, quality, and turnaround times while fostering employee engagement and operational excellence.
key responsibilities
* daily operations management: oversee daily production activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work in compliance with client-specific guidelines.
* compliance monitoring: ensure team adherence to healthcare regulations, including cms guidelines, maintaining 100% compliance.
* operational strategy development: design and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
* resource allocation: manage staffing, technology, and tools effectively to meet client expectations and fluctuating demand.
* site management: supervise site operations, including virtual environments, ensuring all systems and tools function optimally.
* data analysis and reporting: monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and provide regular reports to senior management and clients, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
* team leadership: provide support for complex scenarios, conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions, educate team members on process improvements, and ensure adherence to updated protocols.
profile
* medical doctor: medical degree with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
* registered nurse: bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution with at least 5 years of clinical experience.
preferred qualifications:
* minimum of 2 years of experience in utilization review, cdi, clinical denials and appeals, or physician advisory services.
* at least 2 years in a leadership role managing remote teams in a healthcare or bpo environment.
* strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including cms guidelines, with experience ensuring compliance.
* familiarity with revenue cycle software and tools, and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
* certification in case management (ccm), utilization review (urac), cdi, or a related field is highly desirable.
