* a bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, actuarial science, applied mathematics, data science, engineering, physics, finance, or a related quantitative field is required for success in this role.
* at least 3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems based on statistical analysis, statistical modeling, and coding (e.g., python, r, sql) is essential.
* the ability to communicate complex business issues and solutions in english and spanish fluently is crucial for interacting with regional and local stakeholders.
* a proactive mindset, international perspective, and openness to working on a hybrid model with occasional travel (<10%) are highly valued attributes.
key responsibilities
* partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven insights.
* developing new processes, procedures, methods, tests, and components that support business needs.
* crafting predictive models (ifrs9, acquisition scorecard, collections scorecards) using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
* translating insights into recommendations through compelling data visualizations (e.g., tableau, power bi, dash).
* mentoring junior analysts on best practices and participating in project planning.
* ensuring quality standards and documentation of modeling processes.
* staying up-to-date with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies through continuous learning and professional development.
