role summary
the dressing manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the visual identity and branding elements in three fifa world cup 2026 mexico competition venues, ensuring the visual presentation aligns with fifa brand guidelines and enhances the overall fan experience. This role involves scoping, scope book and budget adjustments, and overall project delivery for the assigned competition venues. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistency and high-quality standards throughout the tournament.
key responsibilities
* oversee the scoping and implementation of all branding elements in 3 competition venues for the fifa world cup 2026.
* conduct site visits to confirm layout, infrastructure, and visual needs, ensuring that the dressing is tailored to each location’s requirements.
* update detailed scope reports outlining all visual branding requirements, including design specifications, installation schedules, and resource allocations for each venue and location. Suggest (sustainable) substrates based on surface, anchor points and venue regulations.
* manage and update scope budget, identifying and allocating costs for product hardware, installation, labor, and logistics, ensuring the dressing is delivered within financial constraints.
* ensure the dressing strategy is followed for the fifa world cup 2026, aligning with fifa’s global brand and visual identity.
* work with fifa’s marketing and branding teams to ensure all visual elements adhere to fifa’s guidelines and elevate the tournament’s aesthetic and fan engagement.
* maintain direct communication with the client regarding scope reports, liaising with suppliers to coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation of materials and services.
* coordinate the installation and placement of all branding materials across stadiums, including media areas, vip lounges and external branding; ensure timely delivery, proper installation and maintenance throughout the tournament.
* oversee decommissioning and removal of all visual elements at the end of the tournament, ensuring proper storage or disposal where appropriate.
* work closely with venue teams to monitor the quality and integrity of installations and ensure they are maintained throughout the event.
* collaborate with a cross-functional team responsible for the visual execution of the dressing, including venue and installation managers; coordinate with event operations teams to ensure smooth execution across all locations.
* coordinate with venues to ensure all visual elements comply with local regulations and safety standards; provide direction and support to external contractors and suppliers for high-quality delivery of materials and installations.
* maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring the dressing aligns with fifa’s global standards and delivers a seamless visual experience for fans, players and broadcast.
* implement and oversee a quality control process for all installations to meet fifa’s aesthetic standards for branding; conduct regular site inspections and make adjustments as needed.
* collaborate with the sustainability team to align dressing with fifa’s sustainability goals, using sustainable materials and processes where possible.
* act as the primary point of contact for dressing-related inquiries for your venues, ensuring strong and consistent communication with internal teams, external vendors, and fifa representatives.
* prepare post-event reports detailing the success of the visual branding execution, including lessons learned and recommendations for future tournaments.
qualifications and education
required experience:
* 3+ years of experience in large-scale event operations, branding, signage, or venue dressing.
* proven experience managing the implementation of visual branding in high-profile sporting or live events.
* strong understanding of production processes, materials, hardware, and installation techniques related to large-scale graphics and signage.
* experience with budgeting, vendor management, and onsite delivery in fast-paced environments.

* strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on practical, timely solutions.
* excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and venue teams.

* familiarity with sustainability practices and working knowledge of eco-friendly materials is a plus.
education:
* degree or diploma in event management, project management, design, architecture, production, or a related field is preferred.
* additional training or certification in project or event management (e.g., pmp, prince2) is a plus.
