as a production supervisor for opto fiber optics, you will oversee and coordinate the operations of our fiber production line, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.

*what you will do*
- supervise and coordinate the activities of operators across all phases of fiber operations to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- monitor and evaluate area performance, focusing on productivity, adherence to production schedules, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- support the production floor by solving process problems and implementing continuous improvement initiatives such as kaizen and 5s maintenance.
- review and analyze production reports, including oee and downtime, to identify areas for improvement.
- manage inventory accuracy and maintain records using sap and other management systems.
- train new hires and conduct recertifications for existing operators to ensure skill development and compliance with operational standards.
*who you are (basic qualifications)*
- proven experience in production supervision within an electronics company.
- bachelor's degree.
- strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- intermediate-advanced english proficiency (written and spoken).
- understand, follow, and respect the provisions described in lft (federal labor law), rit (internal labor regulation) and other regulations applicable to molex mexico.
- background/ knowledge in ehs.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- proficient in 5s and lean manufacturing principles.
- knowledge of inventory control activities.

- experience/knowledge in fiber optics.
- familiarity with kronos or other personnel assistance systems.
- experience and knowledge in production control areas.
