Cbre global workplace solutionsis the world's leading real estate consulting, marketing, and services company.it holds the number one position in most of the world's major business centers.about the roleas a finance transition leader at cbre, will own service delivery for all aspects of finance & accounting, including erp system configuration, client billing and financial reporting processes, corporate peoplesoft setup, client budget creation and process development, and dedicated team hiring and training.what you'll dolearn the steps required to set up finance & accounting systems and processes for a new contract, across multiple regions and various systems.ensure all finance transition activities are completed accurately and per scheduled delivery.own transition administration for finance:1) lead weekly finance & accounting meetings with client team and internal team2) update master transition project plan3) provide weekly updates for client bulletin4) manage transition spend activity for all workstreams to the approved budget5) report project time on a weekly basislead or assist with technology implementation and training as it relates to finance and accounting.systems include jd edwards, peoplesoft, mybuy (coupa), value track, and adaptive planning.collaborate with other lines of business (sourcing, operations, it) on establishing optimal financial and operations processes.identify and resolve potential business risks as they arise.constantly seek to improve quality, service, and efficiency in transitions, including the sharing of best practices and lessons learned with the broader team.interview and hire for new finance roles that are part of the transition/expansion.document standard operating procedures / best practices and ensure finance transition playbooks are available and kept up to date.review of the contractual documents to understand terms agreed, scope, deliverables, timeline, and financials.completion of a contract abstract for distribution to other transition resources and dedicated account team.participates in special projects and initiatives as assigned by global finance transition directorwhat you needbachelor's degree (ba/bs) from a four-year college or university in a business related field.requires a minimum of six years related experience to include at least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.experience with leading or participating in process design and improvement initiatives and/or technology implementation required.why cbre?
