The Product Manager – Suncare is responsible for leading the strategic and operational management of the Sun Protection portfolio (SPF and dermocosmetic photoprotection solutions), driving sustainable growth, profitability, and strong positioning within the pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic markets.
This role requires solid expertise in sunscreen products, including SPF technologies, UV filters, regulatory claims, seasonality management, and competitive dynamics in pharmacy and dermatological channels. Based on the global strategy, you will adapt and localize the brand vision to the Mexican market, ensuring scientific rigor, regulatory compliance, and commercial excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the annual marketing strategy for the Sun Protection portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and peak seasonal demand.
* Lead full product lifecycle management, including launches, reformulations, line extensions, and portfolio optimization.
* Drive category growth through in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, consumer insights, and identification of innovation opportunities.
* Own the P&L, manage A&P investment, pricing strategy, and ensure strong ROI performance.
* Collaborate closely with Global, R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and flawless execution.
* Develop and implement impactful 360° campaigns targeting dermatologists, pharmacies, and end consumers, ensuring strong sell-in and sell-out performance.
* Lead accurate demand forecasting aligned with seasonality, actively participating in S&OP to prevent stock-outs or overstock.
* Translate complex SPF and dermatological data into compelling, medically validated communication and training materials for the sales force.
* Strengthen digital and omnichannel activation strategies, optimizing performance through KPI monitoring and data-driven decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical or dermocosmetic marketing, with proven experience managing Sun Protection / Suncare products.
Strong financial acumen (P&L, ROI, A&P), forecasting experience, and deep understanding of SPF technologies and regulatory frameworks.
Advanced Excel and Power BI.
Advanced English.
