About the role
we are looking for a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our growing cross-border finance team. This position supports our u.s.-based accounting operations, focusing on accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close.

what you'll do
* process vendor invoices and prepare payment runs (ap).
* create and send invoices to u.s. clients; track collections (ar).
* perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
* record journal entries and assist with month-end close.
* maintain organized, audit-ready financial records.
* support u.s.-based finance team with ad hoc reports.
* handle light administrative duties (mail, receipts, vendor forms).
what we're looking for
* bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* 2–4 years of accounting experience (preferably international or u.s. company).
* strong skills in quickbooks online and microsoft excel (pivot tables, vlookup).
* fluent english communication skills — written and verbal.
* organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
* must reside within one hour of mexico city.
nice-to-have
* familiarity with trello, clickup, or notion.
* experience supporting a u.s.-based finance team.
