with a strong focus on completions, workover operations, and well intervention programs, the engineer provides technical expertise, operational support, and continuous improvement insights.
the position requires close collaboration with hse, operations, commercial, and service delivery teams to ensure well integrity, safety, and optimized performance.as an integrated solutions well engineer, you will be responsible for:preparing well designs, technical requirements, and operational plans for completions, workover, and intervention activitiessupporting tendering phases with engineering input while collaborating with commercial and procurement teamsdeveloping detailed well programs and procedures, including intervention and repair (workover) operationsutilizing tools such as vcdse to support engineering design and planning activitiesdefining required technical services and coordinating third‐party involvementpreparing cost estimates, operational timelines, and project schedulesbuilding risk registers and contingency plans with internal and external stakeholdersmonitoring daily progress of operations and tracking project expenditureensuring compliance with hse standards and promoting a strong safety cultureengaging with customers and stakeholders through technical presentations and operational updatestracking kpis and benchmarking performance against defined objectives and offset well datasupporting root cause analysis (rca) investigations and implementing corrective actionspreparing technical documentation including end of well reports and lessons learnedensuring proper data management in line with company proceduresdriving continuous improvement through best practices and technology adoptionspecific responsibilitieswell completion and workover (well repair) operationsdesign and execution of well intervention programsoptimization of well performance during post‐drilling phasesapplication of engineering tools and methodologies to enhance operational efficiencyto be successful in this role you will:hold a bachelor's degree in petroleum, mechanical, or chemical engineering (master's degree preferred)have 5+ years of experience in well construction, completions, workover, or intervention operationsdemonstrate experience in well design, intervention programs, simulations, or field operationshave strong knowledge or exposure to vcdse (virtual collaborative design system environment)possess strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to work in complex environmentsshow excellent communication skills with a minimum english level of b2 (intermediate), to be evaluatedbe proficient in ms office, power bi, and well engineering software toolsdemonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and stakeholdersdesired characteristicsexperience in completions, workover, and well intervention operationsexposure to different well types (conventional, horizontal, unconventional)well control awarenessbasic knowledge of geomechanicsexperience working in integrated or cross‐functional project environmentswork in a way that works for youwe recognize that flexibility allows people to perform at their best.
