paystand is hiring a sales development representative (sdr) to prospect and generate leads, manage the early stages of the sales pipeline, and collaborate with account executives to grow paystand’s enterprise client base.
responsibilities
* prospect and generate leads that match paystand’s ideal customer persona.
* collaborate with account executives and the sdr manager to develop targeting strategies, messaging, and talk tracks for b2b prospects.
* initiate and nurture new relationships, secure meetings, and qualify opportunities.
* handle complex objections and use data‑driven solutions to track and improve performance.
* meet or exceed monthly sales quotas, supporting the team’s growth objectives.
experience & qualifications
* ambitious and self‑motivated, comfortable in a quota‑carrying environment (prior sales experience is a bonus).
* excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
* ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, rapidly changing environment.
* attention to detail and outstanding communication skills.
bonus areas of expertise
* experience with a crm and sales engagement platform.
* knowledge of data enrichment tools and linkedin sales navigator.
* history of quota attainment or relevant sales experience.
* experience or knowledge in finance, accounts receivable, erp systems, or b2b sales.
