general job description:
under limited supervision performs the following activities:
1. consults with management in such vital areas as field operations, facility planning, and airport evaluations.
2. prepares, analyzes, and monitors long range plans for each station and district, provides analysis regarding expansion, new products, procedures vehicles, equipment, manpower, and facility needs.
3. provides technical assistance to field personnel through workshops, station reviews, seminars, and one on one sessions in such areas as operations, manning, ims, famis, contingency planning, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
4. monitors, analyzes, recommends, and implements or assists with systems to improve productivity, service, and cost performance in all areas of international operations in conjunction with field management.
5. establishes a communication link between the field operation and properties, providing technical expertise relating to facility requests, including lease termination/new location, five-year planning, and cost justifications.
6. assists foreign affiliate where the agreement specifies- with facility searches- evaluations, planning, design, and engineering.
7. supervises and controls construction contracts, negotiations, and monitoring of international airports to ensure corporate needs and standards are met.
8. may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
minimum requirements:
minimum education:
1. bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or other quantitative discipline.
2. fluent in english (800 toeic points).
minimum experience:
1. five (5) years professional experience in related field.
2. knowledge of computer systems/programming preferred.
minimum required skills:
1. good communication and analytical skills.
2. knowledge of computer systems/programming preferred.
3. experience in service industries, manufacturing (automotive), not it since work is not in the field.
4. knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma or use of statistical tools.
5. use of autocad 2d or higher.
6. knowledge of problem-solving tools (ishikawa, paretos, 5w, histograms, etc.).
7. ability to identify, justify and manage projects.
