*summary*:
the division sales manager assists the division vice president in managing the overall success of assigned branches, by maximizing profitability, generating sales individually and through the leadership of others.
*job duties*:
- supervises the sales and operational performance of multiple branches.
- implements corporate initiatives, policies, and procedures to support the overall direction of motion industries.
- collaborates to identify and secure new business opportunities and improve operational effectiveness.
- plans, organizes, allocates resources and directs the day-to-day operations of the division under the direction of the division vp.
works very closely with corporate accounts roles in the division.
- covers all aspects of sales, account management, training, and sales support.
- develops sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals.
- creates action plans to penetrate new markets and cultivate customer relationships.
- performs other duties as assigned.
- assists in leading the sales strategy and growth plan for a division set by the division vp.
*education & experience*:
typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience or the equivalent combination.
*knowledge, skills, abilities*:
- exceptional level of drive and passion for results.
- able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- ability to coach and provide feedback to direct reports.
- ability to use microsoft office.
- good driving record required.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills.
