* collaborate with service departments (maintenance, tool room, hr)
* perform industrial safety activities specific to the role
* monitor copq/effectiveness daily
* promote operational discipline in production areas

requirements
* completed professional career in engineering/manufacturing or related field (master's degree preferred)
* bilingual: spanish/english (more than 85%)
* experience in using sap/tress
* manufacturing environments (more than 5 years) medical/automotive industry experience
* knowledge of plastic/rubber epdm or silicon transformation processes
* extensive knowledge of plastic injection environments/molds/equipment
* managing numerous multifunctional teams in molding industry
* analysis of metrics/action plans (security/8d's/5's/effectiveness/scrap)
* gembas (security/7 wastes) experience
* engineering experience (lay out/line balancing/kaizen)
* maintenance administration/sme/mold and tooling maintenance
* project management/transferring molds/injection machines/secondary processes
* gd&t drawing interpretation/geometric tolerances
* statistics (cpk/cmk/gage r&r/control charts)
* availability to travel/domestic/international
