the human resources manager at able (aat usa, llc.) is a full-time, on-site role based in nogales, son.
this role is responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.
the human resources manager will implement and maintain hr policies, ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company standards, and support leaders with workforce planning and organizational development.
day-to-day responsibilities include managing payroll and benefits administration in coordination with finance, maintaining accurate employee records, handling employee relations matters, and promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace culture.
the person in this position will also coordinate training and development initiatives, support change management efforts, and partner with management to align hr practices with business objectives.
qualifications
demonstrated experience in core hr functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
solid knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure hr policies remain compliant.
proficiency in hris systems and hr-related documentation, including maintaining personnel files, hr metrics, and reporting.
strong communication (english & spanish), conflict resolution, and coaching skills to support employees and people leaders at all levels.
experience managing benefits, leave programs, and partnering with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.
proven ability to design and support training and development initiatives, including onboarding programs and skills-based training.
strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
several years of progressive hr experience, preferably including hr generalist or hr manager responsibilities in a manufacturing or technology-related environment.
hr certification (e.g., shrm-cp, shrm-scp, phr, sphr) is preferred but not required
experience in manufacturing, technology, or signage-related industries is beneficial, as is bilingual proficiency in english and spanish.
