under the direction of the corporate communications deputy director of nissan mexicana, the corporate communications sr. Manager is responsible for developing all of our executive-level communications (the strategy, plans, content and execution). S/he works closely with the commercial teams across nissan mexicana to craft meaningful communications, including specific projects, media events, briefing agencies and executive presentations.

s/he plays a key role in raising awareness of nissan before external audiences, and in protecting and building the company's reputation in the region.

main responsibility scope: develop and coordinate strategic communication plan, that help to convey strategic messages to media including product launches, corporate events, company messages and sponsorship amplification, supported by the implementation and coordination of campaigns, supervision or creation of material design.

key responsibilities
* help develop corporate communications strategies that incorporate the global and regional brand narrative (nissan intelligent mobility, business expansion, technology leadership, alliance synergies, etc.)
* coordinate and manage the development of high-quality corporate and product content (press releases, briefing documents, presentations, speeches, and more) for local, regional or global use.
* support our top executives to become industry thought leaders and deliver our brand's messages including forums, speeches, presentations, interviews and external events.
* coordinate and leads corporate or product events and tactics
* planning of strategic editorial calendar in collaboration with team
* act as spokesperson when required
* monitors and orchestrates local crisis management.
* leads consolidated planning, presentations and reporting.
* creates and drives initiatives and campaigns aligned with marketing & sales direction.
* identify and work directly with key areas to achieve the greatest impact from each initiative.
* collaborates daily with peers at local, regional and global operations.
* supervise the internal care of the brand usage.
* relationship and coordination of activities with media
* coordination of agency activities
qualifications
* ba/bs degree or equivalent related experience.
* desirable credentials such as mba, diploma or certifications related to corporate communications.
* direct experience in handling executive communications within a corporate setting.
* demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships up to the c-level.
* 5+ years of experience working in an executive communications/storytelling role.
* local media strategy, relations and campaigning experience
* experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to execution, using structured project management skills
* some experience in reputation risk management including identification, quantification, mitigation, management
* impeccable writing in english and spanish. Knowledge of ap style
* capable of independently producing high-quality content
* capable of leading people and teams across the hierarchical spectrum, including more senior players with reporting responsibility to regional/global
* detail oriented. Have a high quality/accuracy bar and proofreading skills.
