**Job Purpose**: 
Perform advanced analytical tasks, often of a confidential nature in support of the global supply network General Purchasing category management and/or site management. Manages suppliers by developing improvement plans and support buyers & professionals related to Response Time, Lean Targets Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to enable optimal and efficient operations. 
**Job Duties**: 
Manage the chemical process at CAT facilities, looking for quick solutions to problems as well as saving projects fulfilling and maintaining the quality of the processes as well as keep a culture of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. 
**Responsibilities**: 
- Manage the chemical process at CF Facilities 
- Manage the contractor the does the chemical jobs in both facilities 
- Investigate and develop new products and new suppliers for saving projects related to chemical processes 
- Keep a 5’s, safety culture with all the employees and management of chemicals 
- Support the production team and manufacturing team giving insight of how the chemicals could help their processes 
- Keep the quality of the metal working fluids, water treatment, rust prevention, washing fluids 
- Develop and maintain a strong technical base with the suppliers to keep stock of all chemicals in good health 
- Develop easy solutions to complex problems as well as generating savings with these solutions 
- Keep metrics and improve the consumption of all chemical products 
- Reduce waste in all chemical processes 
**Background / Experience**: 
- Chemical, Chemical Engineering or related Bachelor degree 
- Advanced English with excellent technical knowledge and reading skills 
- 2-5 year of experience with production support 
- SDS and formulation knowledge and basic understanding of chemical reactions 
- Leadership skills to manage a group of 15 people 
- Self-guided and objective oriented character 
- Problem solving with little information and develop of solutions 
- Metal working fluid experience 
- Water treatment, reverse osmosis, cooling tower and cooling loops knowledge 
- Rust control and design of experiments
