Duration: 6-month contract (with potential to convert) location: remote – mexico overview we are seeking an experienced sap fi consultant to support, enhance, and optimize our financial systems landscape. This role will focus on sap fi while collaborating across oracle epm planning and financial close solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on expertise in sap financial modules, integrations, and migrations, with the ability to drive process improvements and support global finance initiatives. Key responsibilities provide day‑to‑day support and maintenance for sap fi lead the design, configuration, and implementation of sap financial modules (gl, ap, ar, aa, co). Collaborate with finance and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and design effective solutions. Participate in sap s/4hana migration initiatives, including testing, training, and go‑live support. Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting for fi/co processes. Develop and enhance financial reporting using sap fiori, bw, or oracle epm tools. Work with it and external consultants on new functionalities, integrations, and upgrades. Document configurations, processes, and create training materials for end users. Deliver integrations with third‑party systems such as banks, tax engines, and erps. Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Stay current with sap best practices, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance. Requirements 8 years of hands‑on sap fi experience, including: gl, ap, ar, asset accounting, tax, treasury, bank accounting, and consolidation. Fscm components (credit, dispute, and collections management). Proven experience supporting sap ecc and familiarity with s/4hana (migration or greenfield). Strong understanding of sap integrations and related tools (idocs, rfc, ale, pi/po, cpi). Excellent grasp of finance and accounting principles (ifrs/gaap). Experience working with bapis, badis, apis, btes, and collaborating with abap developers. Skilled in data migration tools (lsmw, migration cockpit). Strong communication and collaboration skills with finance and technical teams. Experience supporting non‑sap and third‑party applications is a plus. Prior exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.
