Overview
the technical writer assists in the development, maintenance and distribution of technical documentation within the assigned function(s). The incumbent collaborates with cross-divisional teams in the research and translation of technical information for technical and nontechnical users in compliance with company policy and procedures.
responsibilities
* assist in the creation and maintenance of all necessary technical documents within the assigned function(s).
* maintain service records to track and/or highlight general issues, correction actions and procedural modifications.
* support the distribution of all applicable technical documentation to cross-divisional teams and/or customers as necessary.
* collaborate with cross-divisional teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of written information in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
* assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
* other duties as assigned.

education
an associate's degree or equivalent vocational training/experience.
experience and required skills
* 2 - 5 years' related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.
* prior experience in a dialysis and/or hospital environment preferred.
* strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation and email applications.
* strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
* great oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
