Business development and dealer management opportunity
about the role:
we are seeking a highly motivated and outstanding individual to join our team as a business development and dealer management professional. This hands-on role will involve identifying and recruiting new dealers, supporting and developing existing distributors, and managing key accounts in mexico and surrounding countries.
achieving regional sales targets, maximizing sales volumes, and developing maximum market share will be key objectives of this position. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of business development and dealer management experience in the geospatial industry, with a strong understanding of features-benefit-solutions selling in a high-tech environment.
the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting direct and indirect business development activities to develop new distribution channels and key accounts in diversified verticals through intensive prospecting activities. They will also drive and support distributors in the development of their business activities, respond to, track, and close sales inquiries in cooperation with distributors, and visit customers and conduct hands-on demonstrations to effectively convert business leads into orders.
in addition, the candidate will propose, organize, and participate in trade shows, events, and promotional roadshows to generate new market opportunities and analyze regional market trends to discover new growth opportunities.
about you:
the ideal candidate should possess a master's or bachelor's degree in sales/marketing/engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of proven b-to-b sales experience in relevant geospatial industries. Fluency in spanish and a professional level of english – written and oral – are mandatory. Experience in international dealer management is a plus for this position.
the successful candidate should be results-oriented, with a positive outlook, and a clear goal of high quality and commercial profit. They should possess strong negotiation skills and be an excellent face-to-face communicator. Travel requirements may include visits to business partners or customer locations, trade shows, strategic accounts, and other regional trips to support the latam team.
