the opportunity
as a demand planner specialist for americas central you´ll be accountable for the forecast planning for the brands and markets assigned to you, product distribution plans to ensure the right products are sent to the right places at the right time. You´ll work to keep inventory levels healthy and making sure we meet sales and market needs without overstocking, running out of product and with a service level of 90% or above.
your impact
* review product availability and order needs, and request additional product when needed to meet demand
* prepare and process daily order adjustments to help reduce product shortages and improve service levels to clients
* create daily and weekly delivery plans to customers (what, when and whom)
* respond to special inventory or delivery needs from the commercial leaders
* support for the demand plan and management process: this includes a) generation of demand baseline, b) support on commercial discussion, c) adjustments aligned with commercial teams driven by strategy
* follow up on demand kpis, analyze and understand results, and participate in internal meetings to review these kpis, bringing knowledge of results for their brands/countries
* support for the manager team in consensus meetings with commercial teams providing visibility into demand estimates for critical issues and priorities, identifying and raising risks and opportunities to get the right product at the right time
* willingness to automate and standardize demand planning processes
we´re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with the following profile
* bachelor´s degree in industrial engineering, administration, international business or related field.
* at least 3 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics
* intermediate english skills (manage a business conversation)
* proficient in microsoft office (especially excel - intermediate), power bi - nice to have
* proficient in using erp systems, sap - nice to have
* strong analytical and numerical skills, with a proactive and decisive mindset
* analyze and track key planning parameters
* experience resolving conflicts and managing priorities under pressure
* solid understanding of supply chain and operations processes
* experience in tracking kpis to ensure alignment with business goals
* innovative mindset focused on improving processes and implementing new solutions
* strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
* comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
* strong soft skills: organized, adaptable, proactive, communicative and reliable with strong follow-up abilities, team work element
