Job summarywe are looking for a skilled cloud infrastructure maintenance technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and security of our cloud infrastructure.main responsibilities:maintain cloud infrastructure by performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on cloud equipment.troubleshoot hardware and network issues using diagnostic tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams.monitor system performance and respond promptly to alerts.develop and implement policies and procedures for change management, incident management, and security protocols.participate in cloud operation projects such as equipment installations, migrations, and upgrades.support capacity planning by tracking resource utilization.document activities thoroughly and maintain clear records.collaborate with it teams and vendors to coordinate repairs, replacements, or upgrades.respond to emergency situations following established contingency plans.provide guidance and training to junior technicians.requirements:bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or related field.english proficiency.minimum 3 years of experience in it operations, preferably in a cloud infrastructure environment.strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking concepts.familiarity with dcim software and monitoring tools.able to work 100% on-site in queretaro, mexico.flexibility to work off-hours, weekends, or be on-call as part of a rotation schedule.mexican citizenship.preferred qualifications:additional technical certifications (e.g., comptia a+, network+, server+).excellent communication skills and attention to detail.knowledge of itil processes and it service management best practices.ability to communicate effectively in both english and spanish.able to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.industry certifications such as comptia server+, network+, ccna, or equivalent are highly desirable.
