head of the quality management function for bosch global software ltd in guadalajara. Responsibilities involves:

* head the team of quality experts responsible for the various business units (vehicle motion, infotainment, braking system, home comfort, power tools, automotive electronics and other business divisions functioning out of guadalajara)
* head of the function, working with all engineering departments in bgsw- mexico, ensuring the quality and process compliance for these departments
* independent evaluations of processes or work products. Obtain information, propose solutions, and monitor compliance with defined quality assurance measures.
* independently report status of quality and processes in the engineering departments, to respective department heads and overall organizational quality status to the location head
* escalates mx organization head, in case of quality concerns of the departments.
* supports the department in continuous improvement activities with a quality mindset and ensure better work product quality in the department.
* ensures the overall quality of causal analysis (car, 8ds) in the department.
* lead aspice deployment in the organization and ensures successful assessment.


qualifications

* bachelor of engineering or equivalent. Post graduation in quality related topics will be an added advantage.
* overall 12-15 years of working experience in automotive or similar industries
* hands on experience in software development and engineering
* at least 4-5 years of experience in quality assurance and/or process consultancy
* knowledge of quality methods and tools with the ability to drive to root cause of specific concerns using quality tools and problem solving techniques.
* good knowledge of aspice, cmmi and other quality models
* process definition and quality assurance (process deployment) experience as per iso 9001 / iso ts - 16949, iatf standards and aspice/ cmmi models in software engineering
* good knowledge and experience in fmea processes and deployment

manager, process improvement

overview: the regional coe process improvement manager - americas will be responsible for managing the transformation of the overall procure to pay process for americas (nam, mex, samcam, brazil). The manager will monitor and ensure the americas transactional sourcing team which reports into global business services (gbs) executes the transactional procurement process (procure to pay) in alignment with established policies and processes. The manager will support cross functional teams internally with transactional sourcing, accounts payable, global strategic sourcing, finance, information systems and business department oracle users to drive and implement best practices with the procure to pay processes and systems. This position will be the liaison and manage the relationships with the global business services team performing procure to pay for americas and the regional heads of procurement in americas.

* the manager will also lead teams, projects and initiatives related to process optimization.
* this role will play a key role for the global strategic sourcing departments procure to pay process by enhancing efficiency, strengthening governance, and ensuring long-term scalability of herbalife’s procure to pay processes integrated with controllership.
* the manager will report to the sr. Manager procurement transformation and will have counterparts in other regions performing a similar role.

responsibilities:

* manage and lead initiatives involving multiple functions and project teams to drive process mapping, analysis and improvement for a product or service offerings

education and experience:

* bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in quality management, business management, engineering, computer sciences, or equivalent;
* lean six sigma black belt or other quality certification required;
* project management certification such as pmp/pmi certification preferred;
* agile methodology training and/or experience preferred;
* experience with signavio would be nice to have;
* typically 10+ years experience.
* education and experience preferred: experience with signavio (process manager, insights, intelligence)
* experience with customer centered process design
* experience with process maturity models and assessment
* knowledge of hp’s processes would be an advantage
