Overview
housekeeping & laundry attendant – the ritz‑carlton residences mexico city. Full‑time, non‑management role responsible for delivering items, maintaining common areas, and supporting residents and guests.
responsibilities
* deliver newspapers, packages, laundry, dry‑cleaning, and other items to residents, guests, and units during overnight shifts.
* operate the service elevator and transport luggage and groceries as required.
* conduct periodic inspections of the building and grounds for safety, appearance, and maintenance conditions.
* remove trash from each floor and compactor rooms to the loading dock in compliance with recycling mandates.
* maintain inventory of supplies and materials, balancing inventory levels to meet demand.
* perform scheduled service routines for assigned areas, including lobbies, vestibules, corridors, stairwells, elevators, service and common areas, exterior walkways, drive‑through area, loading and storage areas, landscape grounds, waste removal/storage areas, windows, and other common areas.
* post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary and contact other departments for urgent repairs.
* respond promptly to requests from residents, guests, and other departments.
* identify and report preventive or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
* maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checklists, presenting them to the management office regularly.
* perform emergency response service actions (e.g., snow and ice removal, plumbing, fire incident follow‑up) when requested by management.
* follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing safety training and certifications.
* adhere to uniform and personal appearance standards, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and assist residents and guests with disabilities using clear and professional language.
* move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance; push and pull machinery over uneven surfaces; reach overhead and below the knees; stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across a work shift; and perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
