Banker

the banker is a senior level professional responsible for driving the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the institutional banking team. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross selling the citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm’s capital and evaluating and managing risk.


responsibilities

* partner with senior bankers to provide overall relationship management support
* assist with day‑to‑day cash management activities, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets efforts, share repurchase and interest‑rate/equity derivatives
* support bankers in cross‑selling the full spectrum of products and services by identifying customer needs to generate revenue
* responsible for evaluating public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses
* responsible for staying abreast of market and industry trends, best practices and competitive landscape


qualifications

* 6-10 years of experience
* sound understanding of the corporate banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations affecting it, and the lending and credit approval process
* consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
* strong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills
* experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products
* fluent in english

banamex ops support specialist ciudad de mexico

the ops support specialist 5 is an entry‑level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the operations‑core team. The role also serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients to provide day‑to‑day operations support in alignment with citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

* resolve customer inquiries and supervise escalated issues, providing efficient and effective customer service to citi’s clients

* support expansive and diverse array of products and services
* assist with ongoing lean and process improvement projects
* resolve complex problems based on best practice/precedence, escalating as needed
* appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency


qualifications

* 2-4 years of relevant experience
* proficient in microsoft office
* comprehensive knowledge of dispute process
* ability to work unsupervised and apply problem‑solve capabilities
* ability to work occasional weekends to support pega releases and cob testing
* working knowledge of pega and/or g36 functionality, continuity of business testing, and creating and resolving trust receipts (trs)
* demonstrated analytical skills

air import operations specialist

ensuring the proper and timely billing of freight, while providing an exceptional customer service within the air import department.


responsibilities

* timely and accurate billing and accounting: invoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to expeditors and customer requirements; proper provisions and service provider charges to avoid reserves; follows proper credit approval processes to minimize risk and protect the company
* timely and accurate data entry: ensure accurate and timely data entry into operational systems according to expeditors’ operational procedures and customer requirements; monitors exception reports for quick data integrity resolution
* timely and accurate shipment processing: ensures smooth and timely freight process flow according to expeditors’ operational procedures; follows customer’s standard operating procedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues; consistently meets kpi standards
* ensure smooth and timely air import process flow
* ensure accurate and timely client billing
* understand all the elements of the import dlsop (desk level standard operating procedure) and correctly interpret this information to fulfill customers’ instructions and expectations
* ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operating system
* track and trace air import files
* verify documents received for air import purposes are compliant and correct
* always ensure compliance to regulations: internal policies and procedures such as operational process standards (ops) and external government regulations or customer policies / requirements
* understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
* oversees communication, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
* escalation of problems to management when necessary
* meets company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee
* attend training classes when required
* complete mandatory training when required
* promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride

* good knowledge of air import processes and system essential
* understanding of air documentation process

* effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
* pro‑active, strong organizational skills
* good computer skills (excel, word, powerpoint)
* advanced english
* fluent in spanish
