Talent acquisition specialist and sourcer – technical profiles (hvac experience) (contractor role)

experience recruiting technical profiles in hvac, construction, engineering, or related industries is highly desirable.

remote | full-time | est/cst time zones preferred

compensation: $1,500 - $1,800/month bonus opportunity

benefits: 2 weeks paid time off (pto)

about the role

as our talent acquisition specialist & sourcer, you will be a key player in our recruitment process. You'll take ownership of candidate sourcing, campaign creation, market mapping, and strategic research, enabling our recruiters to focus on client and candidate engagement. This is a remote, flexible, and collaborative role with room for growth.

what you'll do

candidate sourcing & outreach

* use linkedin sales navigator, boolean search, recruit crm, and indeed resume search to identify high-quality technical candidates.
* build detailed candidate profiles with accurate contact information for immediate outreach.
* organize and maintain candidate data in recruit crm.
* create targeted outreach campaigns tailored to specific job roles and candidate profiles.
* develop interview templates and convert them for use in relevant systems.
* explore new sourcing tools and data-scraping methods to enhance talent acquisition.

market & client mapping

* proactively build talent pipelines for future hiring needs in hvac, construction, engineering, or other technical sectors.
* research and create market maps of prospective clients, identifying decision-makers and business development opportunities.
* explore new verticals and geographic regions to expand our client base strategically.
* manage "most placeable candidate" campaigns to highlight top technical talent and attract new business.
* track and report on client engagement and successful placements.

research & reporting

* compile in-depth profiles for current and potential clients, including leadership structures and industry trends.
* maintain quick-reference data sheets for active clients.
* provide weekly industry reports summarizing key trends and insights.
* contribute ideas and research for linkedin posts, newsletters, and blogs.
* maintain a calendar of relevant industry events and networking opportunities.

communication & deliverable management

* provide regular updates to supported recruiters to ensure timely task completion.
* maintain clear, proactive communication through asynchronous tools and meetings.

what success looks like

* deliver 8-12 qualified candidates per role, per channel weekly.
* complete sourcing campaigns and initial candidate outreach within 8 business hours of receiving a job order.
* produce accurate market maps and reports requiring minimal review.
* enable recruiters to focus on candidate/client engagement by handling sourcing and research efficiently.

what you bring

required skills & experience

* 3+ years of recruitment sourcing experience, ideally with technical profiles (hvac experience is a strong plus but not mandatory).
* proficiency in linkedin sales navigator, recruit crm, boolean search, and indeed resume search.
* strong digital research and data management skills.
* ability to build accurate candidate/client profiles and market maps.

* strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
