the it site supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day operations of our monterrey campus's it infrastructure. As a skilled and proactive leader, you will oversee power systems, hvac, and backup equipment to ensure seamless operation and perform preventive maintenance.
you will be responsible for ensuring 24/7 availability of workstations, ip phones, printers, and other peripherals. Additionally, you will manage active directory, vpns, firewalls, crms, and more.
in this role, you will provide onsite support for lan/wan, switches, routers, access points, and perform basic server tasks such as backups, updates, and provisioning. You will also maintain real-time inventory of it equipment and supplies, conduct audits, and ensure proper asset tagging and documentation.
a key aspect of this position is team leadership. You will supervise and schedule onsite it technicians, assign tasks, provide training, and monitor performance.
compliance and reporting are crucial aspects of this role. You will ensure soc 2 and pci dss compliance, keep documentation updated, and support internal audits.
required skills and qualifications
* bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering, or equivalent field
* preferred certifications: comptia network+, linux+, mcsa, itil, or equivalent
* 5+ years of it operations experience, including 3+ years in infrastructure and facilities-based it support
* 2+ years in supervisory or lead technician roles
* experience in call center, bpo, or 24/7 operational environments highly preferred
* advanced level of english language proficiency
